De is actually Debbi (aka Deb) and Su' is Sue (aka Sister Sue - no, she's not a nun, just my loving sister!).
We started this effort out of our own love for animals. Deb, an author and illustrator of children's books featuring her own rescued animals, has been donating a portion of all book sales to animal shelters and organizations that benefit animal causes since December of 2006.
Looking for a way to increase donations, we came up with the "brilliant" idea of making and selling jewelry as well...
So far, response has been more than we could hope for. Repeat business and referrals are our best advertising!
